The State of Maryland now offers an online housing locator service that allows tenants to search for housing, and landlords to list their properties, The service can be accessed 24-hours a day and is supported by a toll-free, bilingual call center M-F, 9-6 EST. Also, the site connects people to other housing resources through website links and provides helpful tools for renters such as an affordability calculator, rental checklist, and renter rights and responsibilities information.

From
I-70: Take I-70 to Exit 32B, to Route 40
West/Hagerstown (Dual Highway). Go approximately 3 miles; road
“forks” into a two-lane one-way street and becomes East
Franklin Street, after McDonald’s and KFC. Continue through the next
3 lights, crossing Cannon, Mulberry and Locust Streets. Stay left.
The Hagerstown Home
Store is on the left side, ground level, with prominently displayed signs.
Turn left at mid-block into the Central Parking Lot, just before our
building. Or, continue on Franklin Street, turn left on Potomac Street at
City Hall, and park in the public garage on the right side of the street.
From
I-81: Take Exit 6 toward Hagerstown.
Follow Route 40 (now West Washington Street) approximately 2 miles to
Downtown. Cross Potomac Street. At mid-block, turn left into the Central
Parking Lot and park. Walk through the lot onto Franklin Street; turn left.
Hagerstown Home Store is immediately on the left.
