BREAKING NEWS! - EVICTIONS HALTED On September 3, 2020, the Trump administration announced a 4-month halt on eviction proceedings against renters, invoking public health laws out of concern that a national homelessness crisis could worsen the country’s coronavirus outbreak. The Moratorium is in effect until December 31, 2020. Tenants have to submit a form to their landlord. Tenants will have a form they must sign and submit to their landlord to stop any eviction.
